What is CBD?

Cannabidiol (CBD) is one of about 80 known phytocannabinoids known to exist within the cannabis plant (can also be found in the hemp plant). These different phytocannabinoids are known to exist in different levels in different cultivars of cannabis. Most of the cannabinoids don’t exist in large enough concentrations to have any effect, but CBD concentrations can be as high as 40% in CBD-rich cultivars of industrial hemp such as ours.

Can I fail a drug test?

NO! There is less than 0.001% or Non-Detectable THC in our product.
It takes 22 nanograms of THC to produce a positive result. It is simply not possible with our product. Use without fear or concern.

How is hemp different than marijuana?

Unlike marijuana, hemp contains very low levels (- .3 %) of tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), the compound in marijuana responsible for making a person feel high. We go the extra step of removing all of the THC so it is ND/ Triple 0. That is .0001 or Non-Detectable. CBD in no way gives a person a “high” or feeling of euphoria.

Is CBD Hemp Oil legal?

Yes – Unlike Medical Marijuana you do not require a special permit to buy BMHO. It is produced with product derived from Industrial Hemp grown in strict compliance with Sec. 7606 of the Farm Bill. As an approved vendor, we formulate our products as a dietary supplement and ship to your home anywhere in USA and other approved countries.

What is the shelf life of BMHO- can it be frozen?

Once opened, the shelf life is one year if refrigerated. You can freeze BMHO if you choose. However, all the product you buy from us is fresh, not frozen. In the past, we have tested samples that were frozen for two years – there was negligible difference. We are now expanding our tests for longer periods of cold-storage.

Is CBD from industrial hemp as good as CBD from marijuana?

Yes it is! CBD from industrial hemp is just as powerful as CBD from marijuana. Because our CBD is hemp-derived, it is available in all 50 states and over 45 countries.

Is Blue Moon Hemp Oil made from organically grown and processed hemp?

There is no certification or designation for Organically grown Industrial Hemp; however, the farming methods employed are Eco Friendly and utilize no insecticides or herbicides. All of our product additives are plant based and Organic, Non-GMO when available. Additionally, BMH products are also considered raw, vegan, gluten-free, non-GMO, soy free, nut free, and free of artificial coloring and flavoring.

What is your extraction process?

All of our CBD is produced utilizing a “Super Critical” CO2 extraction process. There are no residual solvents, heavy metals or excess chemicals in our CBD crystalline.

What is the endocannabinoid system (ECS) and how does Cannabidiol (CBD) work?

Endocannabinoids and their receptors are found throughout the body: in the brain, organs, connective tissues, glands, and immune cells. In each tissue, the cannabinoid system performs different tasks, but the goal is always the same: homeostasis, the maintenance of a stable internal environment despite fluctuations in the external environment. Endocannabinoids are naturally occurring substances that activate the same receptor sites as phytocannabinoids from the cannabis plant.

Is Blue Moon Hemp Oil with CBD the same as "Medical Marijuana"?

No – Though the Industrial Hemp (Cannabis Sativa) used to produce BMHO is a relative of­ Marijuana (Cannabis Indica), it does not contain the psychoactive properties of­ THC (as Marijuana does).

Where is your hemp sourced from?

From the great state of Kentucky, historically the leading producer of Industrial Hemp in the U.S.A.

What is the suggested serving size for tinctures?

The average human adult requires approximately 20mg per day simply to be in homeostasis or “in balance”. With each bulb squeeze being 1ml, you simply refer to the labeling to determine what the mg/ml ratio is.

EX: 250mg is 8.3mg per ml. So you would want to take 1-2 servings per day. Whether you do AM and PM or a combination is a personal choice.

How do I know what milligram to start with?

The 20mg per day as a basis for well-being is what is suggested. Depending on your lifestyle and which conditions you are hoping to find relief from, adjusting that mg/ day up or down by 10mg per day will allow you to find your most optimum daily requirement.

What is in your E-Liquids and are they digestible?

Although not formulated to be ingested, our e-Liquids are not harmful if they are taken orally. We utilize an all plant formulation of Organic, Non-GMO Palm Kernel oil and Non-GMO Bio (corn) based Propylene Glycol. The CBD is plant based with no solvents or chemicals and all of our flavorings are FDA food approved.

How much tincture should I give my dog or cat?

A good guide is 1 dropper per 8-10 lbs per day. That is 8mg per day. For a 20-25 lb pet, double that amount.

What is shatter?

Shatter is a concentrated form of CBD that comes in a rock crystal form; it is 99.6% pure CBD.

How much Salve should I use/apply? And, how often?

We recommend starting with a dime size amount and apply to the area of concern. Apply once in the morning and once in the evening. Depending on results, increase the amount and the frequency up or down until the desired effect is achieved.

How do I use shatter?

In order to heat and vape the shatter, you would need an “oil rig” or coil that has the capacity to heat up this crystalized version of CBD. There are also portable vaporizers that are designed specifically for shatter as well.

What is in your tincture?

Organic Cold-Pressed Hemp Seed Oil, CBD Crystalline, and Natural Flavors.

What is the expiration on products?

Our products have a shelf life of 1 year. Please ensure that the bottles are stored at room temperature, away from heat and sunlight.

What conditions do CBD salves help with?

Salves are used for anti-inflammatory, pain management, arthritis, skin disorders/conditions such as eczema and dry skin, headaches and a number of other ailments!

When can I expect to receive my package?

Usually, orders placed by 2pm EST ship same day and most orders are shipped within 48 hours unless there is a stock-out. If you wish to utilize expedited shipping, it is available in our drop down menu.
Orders received on Fridays after 2pm EST will ship the following Monday.

In addition, all carriers are experiencing delays in processing and delivery due to unprecedented volumes and COVID safety restrictions. As a result your order may experience gaps and delays in tracking event updates. It may take an additional 2-5 days from when your order ships for your order to arrive.

Where can I track my order?

Once your order has shipped, you will receive a Shipment Confirmation email. This email will contain your tracking number as well as a link to track your package. Additionally, you can track your order by entering the order number here.

I didn’t receive a confirmation email.

We completely understand our customers’ concern when they don’t receive an email confirmation for their order. If you have already checked your spam folder with no luck please, feel free to reach out to our customer service team at 888 223 0420 and we can confirm your order for you. We can also verify email address accuracy in order to insure future emails are received!

What if something is wrong with my order?

If you notice any problems or defects with the product when you receive it, we are happy to exchange or return it for no additional cost. Reach out to support@bluemoonhemp.com for more information on replacements and returns for defective merchandise.

How is the package labeled when it is shipped?

It will have the person/company that the product is addressed to and our address for returning purposes.

How do I return my order?

To make a return please send an email to support@bluemoonhemp.com.

A customer experience representative will reach out to you within 1 to 2 business days with instructions on how to proceed with the return. Once the return process is complete, a full refund will made to your original form of payment or in the case of an exchange, a replacement product will be se t to you.

Refunds may take 5 to 7 business days to post to your bank or credit card.

Do you ship to other countries?

Yes, however, shipping prices will vary based on destination. Additionally, we make a Customs Declaration on the shipping label and packages will clear customs in a normal manner.

How do I create an account?

Creating a Blue Moon Hemp customer account allows you to store billing and shipping and shipping information so that you do not have to enter it every time you place an order. Please note that Blue Moon Hemp does not store credit card information for your security. You can also keep track of all purchases made while logged into your account. How can I recover/change my password?

I am getting emails, but I cannot login?

Why is my credit card being denied?

Most often, the address does not match the billing address, causing the system to not accept payment, please verify all information is correct.

On a rare note, your bank may not recognize your purchase and therefore put a block on your card. Simply call your bank and ask them to authorize the charge.
