What is Delta-10?

Delta-10 products, much like Delta-8, are a hemp-derived cannabinoid with a subtle buzz. Delta-10 THC is a sativa-like compound that offers users an energizing, amped-up experience that revs your creative juices.

Unlike its cousin, it’s not made for relaxing. Delta-10 THC is an energizing compound that gets you moving, focused, and feeling like nothing can stop you. The effects of Delta 10 are familiar but completely new. Looking to spice up your life, pick yourself up some D10 and head for the moon!

Common Questions

How does Delta-10 affect me?

Although the evidence is still fairly limited, it’s likely that Delta-10 absorbs into the endocannabinoid system, and it does so in a way that’s similar to other forms of THC. Both Delta-8 and Delta-9 are believed to bind with the CB1 receptors in the nervous system and brain, which triggers the release of endorphins to produce a high. It’s theorized, then, that Delta-10 works similarly, and possibly at higher concentrations.

Whats the difference between Delta-10 and Delta-8?

Delta 10 and Delta 8 are both forms of THC. They exist on the same molecular strand but at different points. In fact, D8, D9, and D10 are all types of THC that have different psychoactive effects. Aside from their location on a molecular strand, the primary difference between Delta 8 THC and Delta 10 THC is the way they make you feel. D8 tends to be more of a body buzz, while D10 provides more of a heady experience.

Will Delta-10 make me high?

For those wondering if Delta-10 THC will make them high, we have one answer: yes. Delta-10 can absolutely make users high, though not necessarily in the way that Delta-8 or Delta-9 would.
Delta-9 is the THC we think about whenever we’re talking about traditional marijuana products, and its intoxicating properties are known to have a strong impact on factors such as coordination and memory. Meanwhile, Delta-8 is known to possess much milder effects since it’s not as potent. Ultimately, Delta-10 is much more similar to Delta-8 than Delta-9, but they are by no means identical to each other.
While we’ll get more in-depth later about the differences between Delta-10 and its THC siblings, it’s worth noting that many consumers consider Delta-10 to be more like the “sativa” THC, do to its uplifting, euphoria-filled buzz, while Delta-8 is considered to be more like an “indica” due to its chill-inducing tendencies.

Will Delta-10 show up on a drug test?

Urine drug tests detect an illicit compound’s metabolite, which is what the compound becomes after the body’s metabolism begins to break it down.

Most drug testing isn’t sensitive enough to differentiate between Delta-10 and Delta-9 THC metabolites, which means Delta-10 will trigger a positive result on the drug test. In which case, it may not matter whether your THC came from a legal source.

Is Delta-10 legal?

The obvious question many people ask is regarding Delta 10’s legality. Is it legal in the U.S.? YES. The same federal law that made Delta 8 legal, the Farm Bill of 2018, states that products containing no more than 0.3 percent of Delta 9 THC are considered federally legal. Delta-10 is commonly processed from hemp-derived CBD, as is delta-8. Because hemp is legal, delta-10 is considered legal in all 50 states. Delta 10 THC is structurally different from Delta 9 THC. Each cannabinoid contains a double carbon bond on their molecular structure, but in different places. Because of this difference, all of our Delta 10 products like our Delta 8 products and CBD oil contain no more than 0.3 percent Delta 9 in them.

However, not all states follow the federal law. In a confusing and contradicting manor, some states, even those with legal marijuana, have state laws against any ‘intoxicating substance’ aimed at THCs, even though marijuana is clearly intoxicating. These THCs  include Delta 10 and other cannabinoids, even though the euphoric experience is less intense than Delta 9 THC. Other states have legalized Delta 10 THC as they have adopted the same federal hemp definition. Therefore, it is always important to stay up to date with each state’s laws and regulations when purchasing Delta 10 THC.

Is Delta-10 safe?

We’re not super keen on making blanket statements about the safety of Delta 10. There aren’t any studies that suggest Delta 10 is any more dangerous than traditional THC. If you’re concerned about your safety, you should definitely reach out to your primary physician for advice.
