Determining the ideal dose may require experimentation

How much CBD oil should you give your dog or cat? Whether you’re using CBD for anxiety, cancer, arthritis, or other pain relief, the right dose can vary quite a bit from one situation to the next. Some animals do not have as many receptors as others and you may need to experiment to find the right amount and how often. Start with a dose on the low end of the range and expect to see results in 30 – 60 minutes. If there is no change after an hour, increase the dosage.

Basic dosing rule for cats and dogs

1-5 mg CBD for every 10 pounds of body weight. To control pain, give every 8 hours or as needed. For other uses, give once or twice a day.

Save your money!

Our cat who has kidney disease wanted nothing to do with this. It should come in a plain flavor instead of just seafood flavor. Waste of money!

I was having problems with our male cat who started spraying in our home when we brought in a stray male cat. I decided to give the CBD a go to see if it would calm him down. I mix it with a little wet food and he gobbles it up every morning. He is about 14 years old and was looking his age and moving around the house slower and slower. The CBD helped as the spraying stopped, plus his fur has become thicker and shinier. He also seems to have more energy and is moving better.
